Έτσι, λοιπόν, μέσα από την χρησιμοποίηση της μεθόδου του Appadurai – τα scapes- θα προσπαθήσουμε να δείξουμε πως οι ροές της πληροφορίας- μέσα στο πλαίσιο της παγκοσμιοποίησης- οδηγούν στην ανάδυση/ δημιουργία ενός νέου κοινωνικού χώρου στον οποίο αναπτύσσονται νέα συστήματα επιτήρησης και ελέγχου. Επιλέχθηκε η συγκεκριμένη μέθοδος γιατί δίνει την δυνατότητα να δούμε από μια διαφορετική οπτική γωνία τα δεδομένα. Καθώς ήταν δύσκολο να έρθουμε σε επικοινωνία με τις εταιρείες (είτε γιατί δεν εδρεύουν στην Ελλάδα είτε γιατί δεν επιθυμούν να μιλήσουμε) αλλά και με τα άτομα που εμπλέκονται στην διαδικασία της κράτησης των βλαστικών κυττάρων με σκοπό την διαχείριση του ρίσκου της υγείας

So,through the use of the method of appadurai - the scapes-will try to show how the flow of information-in the context of globalization-lead to the emergence / creation of a new social spacewhich new systems of surveillance and control.This method was chosen because it gives the opportunity to see a different perspective on the data.As it was difficult to get in contact with companies (either not resident in Greece or because they do not want to talk) but also the people involved in the process of detentioncells in order to manage the risk of health
