Το Πάνορμο είναι ένα χωριό που βρίσκεται περίπου 20 χλμ. ανατολικά του Ρεθύμνου, στην επαρχία Μυλοποτάμου αν και έχει ανθήσει τουριστικά τα τελευταία χρόνια και φιλοξενεί τουρίστες κάθε χρόνο από διάφορες χώρες του κόσμου, δεν έχει απολέσει την παραδοσιακή του μορφή.
